Many American citizens came out in force to protest the actions of President Trump under the moniker of “No Kings.” In my home state of Connecticut, large crowds appeared in our cities and in posh suburbs such as Westport.
According to the No Kings website [ [link removed] ], the protesters are upset about: the targeting [of] immigrant families… Gutting healthcare, environmental protections… [and] Rigging maps to silence voters.”
But is President Trump behaving like a king? Or is he merely implementing policies he articulated during his campaign [ [link removed] ] while winning an election fair and square. Let’s look at the issues:
Targeting of immigrant families. Anyone who wasn’t braindead during the 2024 presidential campaign understood that President Trump was going to deport the millions of illegals that the Biden administration allowed to flood the country. That is exactly what he is doing. No Kings protesters seem to believe no one is above the law except illegal immigrants. If they are unhappy about President Trump’s actions, they should be advocating for amnesty for illegal immigrants, but this policy is not suggested on the No Kings website.
Gutting health care. Are you serious? The Democrats just shut down the government to shake down the taxpayers for more Obamacare subsidies to enrich insurance company CEOs. There’s reason these hucksters are pulling in $30,000,000 a year. And to add insult to injury, Obamacare insurance stinks. Few doctors accept it (I do) because the patients are barely getting by financially but have huge deductibles that they can’t afford to pay.
Environmental Protection. President Trump made it very clear during his campaign that he considered the Climate Change movement “a hoax.” Is it the behavior of a king to stop subsidizing this scam? In Connecticut, the Climate Change movement is so powerful that fossil fuel use has been discouraged to the point that energy prices have skyrocketed. Thus, many homeowners were surprised when the “Public Benefits Charge [ [link removed] ]” was added to their bill. This was necessary because our poorer citizens could not afford the higher bills caused by the Climate Change scam and nobody in the right mind wants our poorer citizens to freeze.
Rigging maps to silence voters. Really? President Trump is merely encouraging Red States to play by the same rules the Blue States have used for decades – gerrymandering. In Connecticut, President Trump won 42% of the vote but there are no Republican congressmen. Why? Democratic operatives created the “lobster claw,” putting small rural Republican-leaning towns into the heavily Democratic first Congressional district while inserting the Democratic-leaning affluent suburbs of Avon, Farmington and Simsbury into the previously Republican fifth district.

In fact, Trump won 40% of the vote in northeastern states but because of gerrymandering, there is not one Republican congressman! The reason the No Kings protesters are upset is that they have already maxed out their gerrymandering and can’t cheat anymore.
But that doesn’t mean that the No Kings protesters are wrong. But they are protesting the wrong person. Where were they when Joe Biden was President?
As soon as President Trump announced he was running for President again in 2022, the Biden administration choreographed lawfare on President Trump in both Georgia and Manhattan for such heinous crimes as using clever bookkeeping to cover up a tryst with a porn star, inflating real estate assets even though no bank lost a penny on these assessments and charging him with sexually assaulting a women without a scintilla of objective evidence.
Then President Biden sent armed stormtroopers into President Trump’s house with orders to “use deadly force if necessary” over a silly argument over classified documents. The attorney, Jack Smith, who was charged with prosecuting President Trump was illegally appointed [ [link removed] ]!
President Biden censored both Google and Facebook [ [link removed] ] for posting articles that questioned the efficacy of the administration’s COVID policies such as forcing people to wear ineffective masks, six-foot social distancing, and firing people who refused COVID vaccines. He then pardoned the architect of these policies, Dr. Anthony Fauci, from being prosecuted for his obvious perjury.
These were the actions of not only a king, but a tyrannical king.
And then King Biden and his Court coronated Queen Kamala Harris as the Democratic presidential nominee without a vote being cast!
Yet here in Westport, Connecticut, over three thousand people protested [ [link removed] ] against President Trump at the No Kings rally.

But look at this picture. It consists of lily-white affluent people in designer sunglasses who have never have contact with an illegal immigrant unless he is waiting on them in an upscale restaurant or wearing a leaf blower. Their average home value is over $1,900,000. Their stock portfolios are at record highs. None are insured by Obamacare. Their idea of suffering is drinking an overoaked Cabernet Sauvignon. They are rebels without a cause.
Many of them are former Baby Boomers who author Tom Wolfe labeled as “The Me Generation.” And he hit the nail on the head. They drove their parents nuts protesting the Viet Nam War and then drove their children nuts by forcing them to participate in endless extracurricular activities so they could enroll in prestigious colleges. Then the Me Generation increased their social status by bragging about them at cocktail parties. But now they are upset because they are used to everyone kowtowing to them while they get their way.
Instead of ridiculing these people, President Trump should give 20,000 illegal immigrants debit cards and dump them off in Westport, the same way President Biden dumped illegals off in the working-class town of Springfield, Ohio. They could attend the public schools and tool around town in uninsured vehicles getting in fender benders. Then President Trump would get a good laugh as the liberal women of Westport pulled their “Hate Has No Place Here” signs out of their yards and used them to whack the illegals over the head.
