John, I need to give you three critical updates:

1. House Republicans voted to cut $1 TRILLION from Medicaid to pay for massive tax breaks for their billionaire donors.

2. They refused to work with Democrats to keep healthcare costs low for working families.

3. Now, they are on vacation and refusing to come back to the negotiating table to reopen our government.

As you read this, millions of Americans are watching their healthcare costs skyrocket.

It’s unforgivable.

That’s why House Democrats are standing together, holding Republicans accountable for our healthcare crisis, and fighting to reopen our government.

We will NOT back down.
