Maternal Malnutrition Crisis in Gaza

==============================

BREAKING: Our teams on the ground in Gaza report that maternal malnutrition is increasing.

In September alone, nearly half of pregnant women and more than half of lactating mothers screened at Project HOPE's clinics were diagnosed with acute malnutrition. And tragically, for children under five, nearly 1 in 5 are acutely malnourished. The crisis is worsening by the day, and we need your help right now.

Your gift today can help mothers in Gaza survive while supporting our lifesaving work in the countries where we work. Please, will you rush a donation to save lives in Gaza and bring urgent relief with lasting impact to families around the world, wherever the need is greatest?

Friend, mothers like Suzan in Gaza are fighting the impossible to keep their children alive.

Suzan is pregnant, and already a mother of 9. She is living in a tent with her children, where life is a daily cycle of survival. It's a heartbreaking reality for so many others caring for their families in the midst of crisis and displacement. But when she finally connected with Project HOPE's doctors after her last pregnancy, she was able to find a sense of relief - and hope:

"It was the first time I met him. I was heavily pregnant, [in] the final months of my pregnancy. I came feeling tired, malnourished, and exhausted. He comforted me, saying that everything was okay. Because I was utterly broken down, I was carrying all the pressure myself."

Prolonged uncertainty is keeping families trapped in constant fear. It is fueling chronic stress and anxiety. This trauma can ripple across generations - and it's deepening every day this crisis continues.

Since this crisis began, Project HOPE has provided over 299,000 medical consultations, including 36,000 for pregnant and nursing women. And you can help ensure we continue to reach more people with the care they need to survive - in Gaza and worldwide.

Please, Friend, rush your gift today to help provide care, nutrition, and HOPE to families in Gaza and around the world where the need is greatest.
