We’re a week out from our October fundraising deadline, and we have an important goal that we have to hit.

Here’s why this deadline matters:

We had huge momentum when James kicked off this campaign. Now the question everybody is asking is if we can sustain that enthusiasm. Will we be able to make the early investments needed to flip Texas?

What we raise by the end of the month will directly inform our budget decisions. If people keep showing up and we reach our ambitious goals, then we can go big with our plans. We can lay the organizing groundwork and start getting James’ message out there sooner.

If we don’t land where we hope, we’ll have to look at pulling back on our plans.

So this is where we need everybody in this movement to play a role to elect James to the U.S. Senate.
