John,

It's Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes. Last Saturday, I stood with over 14,000 Arizonans at our state Capitol for the No Kings march — and I have to tell you, it was one of the most powerful moments of my career.

When I stepped up to that microphone, I saw a sea of people who refuse to surrender our democracy.

We need to keep that same energy going, especially now that I’m suing Mike Johnson for refusing to swear in Representative-elect Adelita Grijalva. Chip in now to help us keep up the pressure: [ [link removed] ]

My parents taught me about public service on our family's tree farm in Prescott. Every spring, people lined up all the way down Norris Road to get free trees — my father, one of the founders of the local Sierra Club, believed in giving back to the community. That's the Arizona I grew up in. That's the Arizona worth fighting for.

And that's exactly what over 15,000 people showed up to defend on Saturday.

I told the crowd: "We will never surrender to a king. We will never surrender to tyranny. And we will win this fight because Americans still believe in America."

I meant every word.

Trump's masked agents are terrorizing immigrant families in our communities. He's threatening to overtake our elections. His administration is gutting healthcare and education while handing massive giveaways to billionaire allies as Arizona families struggle to afford groceries.

But here's what Trump doesn't understand: in Arizona — just like anywhere else in America — we don't bow to kings.

That’s why, as your Attorney General, I've sued Trump over 25 times. Whenever he and his cronies break the law in Arizona, I'll keep standing up.

Are you with me? If so, I’d be grateful for your support of my re-election campaign: [ [link removed] ]
