TURNING POINT IN WYOMING
ICYMI: The Wyoming Freedom Caucus took a bold stand for free speech after local high school administrators tried to silence members of Turning Point USA (TPUSA).
Earlier this month, students at Natrona County High School in Casper reported that their efforts to organize a TPUSA chapter were shut down by school officials. In response, the Wyoming Freedom Caucus immediately sounded the alarm and filed a public records request demanding accountability from the district.
WY Freedom Caucus Chairwoman Rep. Rachel Rodriguez-Williams told the Daily Wire that the battle against censorship “reminds all Wyoming school districts that students don’t shed their First Amendment rights at the schoolhouse doors.”
