This shutdown and health care crisis are exactly why we need Medicare for All.
John,
Working people shouldn’t have to fight for the care they need to survive while insurers profit and politicians play games — yet that’s exactly what’s happening right now.
With Republicans holding the government hostage, health care costs set to skyrocket for millions, and corporations making record profits off our suffering, the case for Medicare for All has never been stronger.
If you believe health care should be a human right, not a privilege, will you chip in $3 to Pramila’s campaign and help fuel the fight for Medicare for All?

If Republicans refuse to extend critical health care subsidies, premium costs will skyrocket in a few months. A 50 year old couple making $95,000 a year could see their premiums increase by $17,000 just to keep their current plan. Millions are already receiving notices that their premiums are set to double.
John, we all know this story too well. The U.S. has some of the worst health outcomes of any advanced economy — millions are uninsured, drowning in medical debt, rationing prescriptions, and living in fear of going bankrupt for getting the care they need.
Meanwhile, insurance companies are making record profits under President Trump, while patients pay more and are denied care more often.
Extending ACA subsidies immediately is urgent and necessary, but it won’t fix a broken system. What we really need is a total reset — a 21st-century health care system that puts people over profits.
That’s why Pramila is leading the fight for Medicare for All — to expand and improve Medicare to cover every single person in America with comprehensive care.
By passing the Medicare For All Act, we will ensure that:
- Everyone is able to go to the doctor when they’re sick
- Everyone is able go to the hospital without fear of bankruptcy
- Expensive premiums, deductibles, co-pays, and other out-of-pocket costs are eliminated completely.
- The U.S. saves hundreds of billions on health expenses annually
From day one, Pramila has fought for Medicare for All and never taken a dime from corporate PACs. That’s why we need your support to take on powerful special interests and build a health care system that works for everyone, we need a strong grassroots movement powering the fight.
Please chip in $3 or whatever you can to help fuel this movement and Pramila’s work for Medicare for All.
