Let me tell you something I know for certain: Manufacturing made Michigan – and Michigan made me.
I was born and raised in Michigan, and I’ve been surrounded by this industry my whole life. From the shop floors to the shipping docks, from Auburn Hills to Grand Rapids, we’re not just talking about a 9 to 5 job – we’re talking about a way of life. About a career you can raise a family on. About pride in building something with your own two hands. About what it means to be from Michigan.
It’s not always been easy. There have always been people, pundits, and politicians who have doubted Michigan manufacturing. That’s not me – and that’s not the hardworking people of Michigan. We don’t walk away from challenges. We rise to meet them.
To the doubters, I say: Come see Michigan. Come walk the floor of an auto plant. Talk to the folks who never gave up on Michigan manufacturing, who’ve trained the next generation with calloused hands and open hearts. This is the Michigan way: Grease, grit, and hard work. It’s who we are.
And yes, we’re in a tough moment. The Trump administration’s tariffs are putting strain on our auto industry. Supply chains are still recovering. And overseas competition is taking aim at American-made goods. That’s why our manufacturing sector deserves an advocate in the U.S. Senate.
I’ve spent my career fighting for this state and this industry. I helped lead the auto rescue under President Obama in 2008 – when people were writing Detroit off, we rolled up our sleeves and helped save over 200,000 jobs.
In Congress, I’ve worked to bring manufacturing jobs back to Michigan and strengthen workforce training programs. Always side by side with union workers. Always pushing for legislation that will help Michiganders thrive.
We are a state whose economy is still driven centrally by manufacturing. That’s not a flaw – it’s a strength. There’s pride in the work, pride in the skilled workforce, and pride in knowing that we’re building the future, brick by brick.
When I travel across Michigan, from Detroit to Flint, from Lansing to Traverse City, I see that pride. There’s a sense of unity. We came back. That’s Michigan grit.
That’s why I’m running for Senate. To be a champion for Michigan manufacturing. To fight like hell for our working families. And to make sure our kids grow up in a state that builds the future.
So if you believe, like I do, that Michigan manufacturing is worth fighting for, I hope you’ll consider making a contribution to support this campaign.
We’ve got a long road ahead – but we’re Michigan. Grit is what we do. We build. We fight. We never give up.
Let’s do it together.
Haley
A personal note from Haley 👋

I’m a lifelong Michigander and the daughter of small-business owners. I’ve spent my career fighting for Michigan’s working families – and now I’m running for the U.S. Senate to keep standing up for the people I love.

But here’s the truth: Senate control could come down to Michigan. And Trump and his megadonors know it. That’s why they’re gearing up to spend tens of millions to defeat me and hand this seat to a MAGA Republican.

I need your help to fight back. This race will be one of the most competitive – and expensive – in the country, and I’m counting on grassroots support to win.

If you’re with me, will you chip in today?
