Last week we released our 2025 Environmental Scorecard, which features photos submitted by our members during our Photo Contest that we launched over the summer. Today we’re excited to celebrate the winner of our 2025 Photo Contest, Dave Bookman from Hood River — congratulations, Dave! Take a look at the winning photo up close here:

We choose this photo as the front cover for our 2025 Scorecard, not only because it captures the awe of the Columbia River Gorge and reminds us what Oregon is all about, but for the hopeful feelings that this photograph evokes. Although the 2025 Session did not achieve the climate action we needed, we cannot lose sight on what is possible and what this fight is all about.

There were so many wonderful photos submitted to our contest this year that it was hard for us to choose a winner. We want to say

a special thank you to everyone who took the time to share their beautiful and inspiring photos with us. 

Although you may not have won the grand prize, there is still a chance that your photo was included inside the print copy of our 2025 Scorecard! If you submitted a photo, make sure that you check out the pdf version of the Scorecard here to see if your photo was included.
