Friend, I beat tough odds to win my first-ever House race in 2018.

I was up against a 22-year GOP incumbent in a gerrymandered district, and nobody thought I stood a chance.

But I won by outworking my opponent, knocking on nearly every door in the district, listening to voters, and by running a people-powered campaign. To me, that's exactly how a campaign should be run.

This time, we're in a similar uphill battle – except much more is at stake.

Because now, I'm not just running to represent one district. I'm running to represent over 31 million Texans in the U.S. Senate.

That's why I'm spending time in places like the Rio Grande Valley, where I recently visited GW's BBQ in San Juan and learned how difficult it is to run a small business in Trump's economy. I also chatted with teacher union reps in McAllen who are on the front lines of our classrooms, before heading to the local UT campus for a town hall hosted by their College Democrats.

The stakes couldn’t be higher, and reaching voters across Texas takes serious resources. If we’re going to win, we have to outwork, out-organize, and out-communicate like never before. That’s why I’m personally asking: Will you chip in right now to power our grassroots movement and help us reach every voter we need to win?

Polls show I'm the only Democrat with a path to victory here in Texas – but right now, I'm concerned because recent polling shows me trailing my MAGA opponent by just one point.
