Steve Bannon says "there is a plan" for Trump to be president in 2028
MAGA whisperer and man of many shirts Steve Bannon just gave away the game yesterday, declaring Donald Trump a "vehicle of divine providence" while foreshadowing plans to wrangle a third term for the autocratic buffoon. Folks, they are telegraphing their scheme in plainspeak to crown Donald king in all but name only. We should be wise to listen and organize accordingly!

VIDEO OF THE DAY: Karoline Leavitt makes bonkers confession
Trump's press secretary admittedly has a difficult job: telling one lie after another, day in and day out, must eventually take some kind of toll, even on the least scrupulous among us. What's truly fascinating, though, is when Leavitt accidentally lets a little bit of truth slip out, as she did yesterday while gaslighting the press corps about Donald's unauthorized demolition of the East Wing, which she called Trump's "main priority." In these tenuous and deeply unsettling times, it's nice to know Donald is laser focused on the issues that matter most to the American public.

Former school board president launches campaign to put a stop to Greg Abbott’s carnival of corruption
Gina Hinojosa for Governor: Gina Hinojosa was just an ordinary Texas mom — until Greg Abbott tried to close her son’s public school as part of his plot to turn our schools into for-profit schemes. Gina got involved in politics to fight back, her journey taking her to the school board presidency and the state legislature. Now she’s running to kick Greg Abbott out for good and put an end to his kleptocracy of MAGA extremism and flagrant corruption. Will you chip in to help kick-start her campaign?
US officials descend on Israel for "Bibi-sitting" mission to ensure Netanyahu doesn't violate Gaza truce
Frustrated US officials have hastily launched a diplomatic mission they've informally dubbed "Bibi-sitting," as concerns over the Israeli prime minister's willingness to stop committing war crimes and actually abide by the fragile truce he previously agreed to are understandably growing. The constant supervision to prevent the Israeli leader from falling into old habits is, of course, humiliating to Netanyahu, but clearly warranted. When asked why the US required such a strong presence on the ground in Israel if the truce was holding, JD Vance made the following startling admission: "It’s not about monitoring it, in the sense of monitoring a toddler. It’s important for the [Trump] administration to make sure our people continue to keep doing what we need them to do." Uh, yeah, they're definitely calling Netanyahu a petulant man-child.

Trump brags Congress won’t stop him when military strikes on South American "narcoterrorists" inevitably move to land
We hate to say it, but Donald is definitely right on this one. Feckless Republicans in Congress have shown zero inclination to stand up to the wannabe dictator for literally any of his many, autocratic transgressions — up to and including the hasty demolition of the entire East Wing of the White House — so why on earth would they stop their authoritarian cult leader if and when he decides to invade Venezuela in the name of eradicating "narcoterrorists?" Trump's fascistic tendencies are well-documented and to be expected at the point, which makes the wholesale abdication of duty by a servile GOP that ostensibly once believed in congressional checks and balances all the more contemptible.

Trump team adds Bill Clinton sex scandal, random photo of Barack Obama in Kenya in 2006, and Hunter Biden drug addiction struggles to official White House "Major Events Timeline"
Trump goons added some curious entries to the official White House website timeline yesterday, but, for some reason left several historical doozies out, including: the 2017 firing of then-FBI Director James Comey for refusing to serve as his personal attack dog; Donald's famous 2019 Ukrainian quid pro quo scandal that got him impeached the first time; the MAGA cult leader's epic fumbling of the COVID pandemic in 2020, including his infamous press conference where he suggested injecting bleach as a potential cure; the tear-gassing of American citizens outside the White House so he could stage a silly photo-op outside a nearby church later that same summer; the many Oval Office phone calls he made in his failed attempt to overturn the results of the 2020 election; the violent insurrection he incited, then watched on TV for hours on end from the White House residence on Jan. 6, 2021, which led to his second impeachment; and his refusal to participate in a peaceful transfer of power when Joe Biden became president. Wonder why those entries didn't make the cut?

Trump says he’s ending trade talks with Canada over TV ads opposing tariffs
America's nincompoop-in-chief pitched a serious Truth Social fit last night, which continued this morning, after TV ads in Canada calling out the president's stupid tariff crusade drew his predictable ire. In a real "I'm taking my ball and going home" moment, Donald thumb-smashed: "Based on their egregious behavior, ALL TRADE NEGOTIATIONS WITH CANADA ARE HEREBY TERMINATED." For a guy who layers on bronzer by the gallon, it sure is easy to get under his skin.
Prosecutors find evidence ruining their own case against Letitia James
A Justice Department investigation into New York Attorney General Letitia James yielded information that may predictably spoil the Trump regime's vengeance-fueled plans to convict her of mortgage fraud, for which there simply is no credible evidence. The DOJ, led by the woefully inexperienced interim US Attorney Lindsey Halligan after her predecessor was ousted for declining to pursue the case, accused James of committing mortgage fraud and lying about a second home being rented out as an investment property. Unfortunately, the evidence simply does not back up the paper-thin claims, and government lawyers have expressed doubt that they'll be able to prove that James committed any actual crimes. We know this will come as a shock, but all signs continue to point to a bogus indictment, one borne out of spite and a desire for revenge following James’s successful fraud suit against Trump, which made her a lifelong enemy of the autocratic crook.
Stephen Miller literally tells Trump "this country was going to die without you"
Holy shit, the sycophancy is strong with this one.

Blind protester dragged along the ground by ICE goons
Quinn Haberl believes his disability and diminutive stature are precisely why SIX federal agents descended upon him during a protest outside the US Immigration and Customs and Enforcement facility in South Portland last weekend and dragged him into the building. "I think they wanted to make a point," said Haberl, who is 4-foot-6 and legally blind. "So they picked the weakest person they could find and made a big show out of it." Haberl’s detention Saturday, captured in jarring photographs and video footage, is among the latest instances of woefully trained, unqualified ICE goons employing aggressive tactics against Portland demonstrators who don't appear to present any clear physical threat. Just more of Trump's cosplay army waging a campaign of terror against people who dare to think differently than them. It is so good to be great again.
"A slap in the face": Ranchers feel betrayed by Trump's plan to buy Argentine beef
One more time for those in the back (and the front, the middle, and both sides): Donald Trump does not care about you. He did not care about you in 2016, 2020, 2024, or this past Sunday when he unveiled plans to quadruple beef imports from Argentina to help bail out his buddy Javier Milei. His entire presidency is a grift, and we are all pawns on the board for the taking.
