[link removed] [[link removed]] Today marks two weeks until the planned start date of the Kansas GOP’s special redistricting session — and I wish I could share some more concrete details with you. But really, things are up in the air right now.
According to the latest reports, Kansas GOP leadership still doesn’t have the signatures to actually force the special session. And that’s a testament to just how much pressure we’ve placed on Kansas Republicans. Because of your help, there’s a real chance the National GOP’s gerrymander falls short here in Kansas.
Listen, I don’t know exactly what the road ahead will look like for our state. But I do know this: Kansas Republicans want us to go away quietly. They want us to throw our hands in the air, give up, and just hand them total control over our state without a second thought.
