Hi friend,
When I stepped on stage in Virginia, I saw more than a campaign rally – I saw neighbors, organizers, parents, and students answering a call. Hundreds and hundreds of Virginians showed how when people come together around a shared purpose, a better way forward appears.
And what I felt in that room wasn’t just excitement. It was resolve. A steady belief that even in a moment like this, we still get to decide what defines our politics – whether it’s division and fear, or decency, responsibility, and the readiness to solve problems together.
That’s what Abigail Spanberger’s campaign represents. It’s not just about who becomes the next governor of Virginia. It’s about proving that leadership grounded in service and integrity can win out in America – and that people power can overcome cynicism and chaos.
Moments like that night are why I’ve been so energized by showing up, in red, blue, and purple states, and in the online spaces where so many of our political conversations now happen. Gathering in good faith, shoulder to shoulder, is itself an act of hope. It says something about who we are - and who we’re determined to be.
Virginia is going to send a message to the rest of the country. And I want that message to be clear: that Americans are ready to choose a better kind of politics.
That’s why we built Win the Era: to help leaders like Abigail and to make sure the kind of energy we felt in that room turns into sustained action.
If you’re ready to prove that decency and integrity can still win in American politics, I hope you’ll consider supporting this work today:
