I hear from families every week about prescription drug costs. Hardworking Americans shouldn’t be struggling to afford the medications that keep them alive, especially while they are super wealthy and big corporations continue to get out of paying all their taxes.
We’ve made some progress – Medicare can now negotiate drug prices for the first time, and insulin is capped at $35/month for Medicare recipients. But it’s not enough.
Healthcare is a right, not a privilege. That includes being able to afford the medications that keep you alive.
