It’s Deborah.

This week, Republicans in the North Carolina legislature pushed through their new redistricting map — drawn behind closed doors, designed to protect Donald Trump’s power, and passed with no regard for the voting rights of Black Americans in our state.

People across the state and the rest of the country are frustrated. Angry. Tired of watching lawmakers twist the rules to shut voters out of the process.

We have to take all of that — the frustration, the urgency, the sense that something is deeply wrong — and turn it into action. Because in 2026, we have a chance to stop this.

We can elect leaders who believe in fair representation. We can protect our democracy. But that work must start now — organizing, expanding our reach, and building real power in every corner of the state.

Will you chip in $15 today to help us fight back and prepare for the road ahead?

The new maps may be drawn — but the outcome is not.

Let’s get to work,

Deborah

In 2020, Deborah became the first Democrat in over a decade to be elected to represent North Carolina’s 2nd Congressional district. In her first term, eleven pieces of legislation she introduced were signed into law. These measures increased funding for sexual assault nurse examiners, enhanced judicial ethics and transparency, and bolstered North Carolina’s offshore wind energy potential. Deborah needs your support to continue the fight for fairness, equality, and progress. Let’s do this together.
