Trump calls it a booming economy. It’s not booming for Staten Island and Southern Brooklyn.
Groceries cost more every week. Housing is out of reach for too many families. Wages are stagnant, and healthcare costs are climbing faster than ever. Meanwhile, billionaires are celebrating record profits and massive tax breaks.

As an educator and coach here in Staten Island, I know this economy is not supportive of working people like you and me.
