Budget 2025 will cut waste, protect the essential programs that give Canadians a fair chance to get ahead, and make generational investments, with a plan to:

- Protect our communities, our borders, and our way of life;
- Build a stronger economy with major projects, homes, and technologies – where everyone has a chance to get ahead; and,
- Empower Canadians with new opportunities, better careers, and a lower cost of living.
And as we move from reliance to resilience, Mark Carney also announced an ambitious goal for Canada to double non-U.S. exports in the next decade, a Climate Competitiveness Strategy focused on results over objectives, and our plan to unlock apprenticeships and skills training so the next generation can build their careers here in Canada.
