Friend, guns are already the number one cause of death for American children. We need to ensure that dangerous people who are banned from owning them do NOT regain access to firearms.

It's not surprising that the Trump Administration is fighting for the opposite. Trump’s Department of Justice (DOJ) is moving forward on a measure that, if weakened, could allow convicted domestic abusers to get their gun access restored. This could have deadly consequences.

The new measure could also be easily corrupted to benefit President Trump’s friends and allies. Already, actor Mel Gibson, a convicted domestic abuser, had his gun access restored by President Trump, as did violent insurrectionists who stormed the U.S. Capitol on January 6 when they were pardoned.

That's why Brady's work is so critical. Activists sent 5,000 comments to the DOJ to fight for gun rights restoration to remain immune to corruption. And we keep fighting to expand background checks to save lives. In 2024 alone, Brady Background Checks blocked more than 4,000 gun sales to individuals convicted of misdemeanor domestic violence crimes — preventing countless acts of violence before they ever occurred. And when you donate today, you're fueling our fight against this administration well into the future.

Brady is fighting to protect survivors and all Americans from gun violence at all levels of government. From court cases like United States v. Rahimi to defending Brady Background Checks and pushing for stronger protections at the state and federal level, we are working every single day to make sure abusers cannot access guns.

With support from people like you, Brady is able to keep working in the courts, in Congress, and in communities nationwide — because no one should have to live in fear of their abuser having access to a deadly weapon.

That's why this Domestic Violence Awareness Month, we're asking you to make a gift to Brady to honor survivors and power this life-saving fight for stronger protections and common-sense gun safety laws?
