Here’s something you’re almost never going to hear me say:

It’s July, I’m in Oregon, and I’d rather be in Washington, DC right now.

That’s right. Oregon is magical in summertime, but this is no time for US Senators to be home. We should be in the Senate, debating, amending, and passing the HEROES Act.

It’s been nearly two months since the House passed this critical legislation to beat the pandemic and build our economic recovery. 

But Senator Mitch McConnell and his fellow Republicans in the Senate won’t even debate the bill.

They are failing us.

Come November, we must take back the Senate, end Mitch McConnell’s disastrous tenure as majority leader, and get America back on track.

Chip in $3 now. We must do everything we can to take back the Senate.
