National Association of Homebuilders Endorses the Dignity Act - The National Association of Home Builders has officially endorsed the Dignity Act of 2025 (H.R. 4393), a bipartisan bill introduced by Rep. Maria Elvira Salazar to modernize America’s immigration system and address critical labor shortages in the housing industry. The legislation combines strong border security and enforcement measures with a fair, earned process for undocumented immigrants to gain legal work authorization through a seven-year Dignity Program. With support from major business and faith organizations, the Dignity Act is being hailed as a balanced, practical solution to rebuild the workforce, increase housing supply, and strengthen the rule of law without granting amnesty.
Governor Abbott Mobilizes Additional State Wildfire Response Resources Amid Ongoing Fire Danger - The rapid onset of drought across much of Texas has significantly increased fire potential.
