Hillary Clinton is not only a national leader and global influence, she has become part of our lives and even our dreams.

When I first met her decades ago, I was struck by how she listened — really listened — to women whose lives had often been ignored, to children who needed a voice, to workers who had been told their work was not important. Now, as Hillary celebrates her 78th birthday, we see her amazing life, and the millions of people whose lives have been changed because she refused to accept the idea that “good enough” was enough.
