I'm reaching out today to ask you to support my friend Candace Valenzuela who is running in the July 14th primary runoff in Texas' 24th District.

Candace is a mother and educator running a grassroots campaign on behalf of working families in her community. If elected, she also has a chance to make history as the first Black Latina member of Congress.

The latest polling shows that Candace can win this race, but she’s facing a tough primary runoff in less than a week. She needs widespread grassroots support to win this race. That’s why I’m asking all my supporters to chip in and tune-in to Candace’s campaign. Can you donate today?

Candace is a rare candidate whose campaign represents the hopes and aspirations of the communities she is seeking to represent. She experienced poverty and homelessness growing up. She understands the obstacles that are facing working families and is ready to advocate on their behalf in Congress.

If she wins this runoff, TX-24 will then become a top pickup opportunity for Democrats, but we need to get her across the finish line first:
