Earlier this month, the Supreme Court heard arguments for Chiles v. Salazar. A case that could determine whether states can protect LGBTQ+ youth from so-called “conversion therapy.”

Let’s be clear: this is not therapy. It’s a dangerous, discredited practice rooted in shame and control. Every major medical and mental health organization condemns it for the deep harm it causes, especially to trans and nonbinary young people.

For decades, we’ve fought for the right to live freely and make choices about our bodies and our futures. That fight continues today.
