I think they're getting more brazen.
In case cozy Republicans and their donors have forgotten, we're in the third week of a government shutdown.
Federal workers like air traffic controllers, continue to show up to work without pay. And many more federal workers are sent home. Important work goes undone and the rest of us are left holding the bill.
Just yesterday, we learned that SNAP benefits will run out starting in November.
And this is all because Senate Republicans have refused to extend tax cuts to working Americans to keep healthcare premiums from DOUBLING . Now we're all paying the price.
...well except those same Republicans.
Because while Democrats are showing up to town halls and to work for their constituents ( check out the OKDEMS town hall tour here [[link removed]] ), Republicans are stripping our government for parts.

Felon-in-Chief Trump is of course the best at this. He's begun demolishing part of the White House for his latest dementia-addled obsession, a ballroom that I'm sure will be coated in the most over the top gold plating possible.
But he also has a new racket. Trump is demanding the Department of Justice, now headed by a cadre of his former personal attorneys, fork over 230 MILLION DOLLARS to him personally. [[link removed]]
Oh, and we told you about how Trump sold American soybean farmers up the river by bailing out Argentina and their unfairly priced soybeans undercutting us. Turns out that move was such a hit, he's about to do it again by shorting American Ranchers with massive imports of Argentinian beef. [[link removed]]
I don't remember any Argentina First yard signs last year...
You can't make this stuff up.
HELP US PUT OKLAHOMANS FIRST [[link removed]]
Just so you don't think the problem is exclusive to Trump, the Republican extortion continues here in Oklahoma.
Yesterday, State Senate Pro Tem Lonnie Paxton released a statement encouraging the Legislative Compensation Board to raise the pay of State Legislators.
I'm all for paying Legislators a living wage, it's the only way we'll get folks who work for a living elected to office. But, to push for this right now instead of tackling the problems facing Oklahomans is absurd.
Democratic Representatives are looking for real solutions like using our State's full to the brim Rainy-Day fund to ensure kids don't go hungry.

HOLD REPUBLICANS ACCOUNTABLE [[link removed]]
Oklahoma's hardworking state employees haven't gotten a raise in years.
Oklahoma's teacher starting pay is 45th in the nation.
Oklahoma's minimum wage is still at $7.25/hour.
Federal workers around the country aren't being paid.
And over 450,000 Oklahoma kids are about to go hungry during the Holidays.
Meanwhile, Republicans are stuffing their pockets, and stripping the copper out of the walls.
