The Trump administration has enacted yet another misguided and harmful immigration policy.
The new policy bars international college students here on a visa from staying in the United States if their institution has gone to online-only instruction for the fall semester. It comes just as schools are planning how to return during the ongoing COVID-19 crisis.
Simply put, this policy is unfair. American higher education attracts bright students from all over the globe. Through no fault of their own, these students are now just the latest victims of President Trump’s racist immigration policy. Should they be? Tell us what you think:
