John, we are on day 23 of the Republican-led government shutdown.

It’s indefensible.

While Republicans have no interest in coming back to DC, negotiating with Democrats, and fixing our healthcare crisis…

Democrats are ready to come to a solution, keep healthcare costs low for working families, and reopen our government.

As House Democrats’ Campaign Chair, I’m calling on Mike Johnson to stop the Republican vacation, fix the Republican healthcare crisis, and come to a solution to reopen the government. 

We will NOT back down from this fight – not when millions of people’s lives are at stake.
