Hi John,

Yesterday, we launched a new ad campaign calling on House Speaker Mike Johnson to immediately swear in Representative-Elect Adelita Grijalva, a Democrat who was overwhelmingly elected in Arizona’s 7th Congressional District this September.

Our ads urge people to call directly to House Speaker Mike Johnson’s office and demand that he give Southern Arizona its voice back.

By refusing to swear Grijalva in, Speaker Mike Johnson is deliberately silencing more than 800,000 Arizonans who voted to send her to Congress. Arizona’s 7th is one of the most Latino districts in the country, and every day this delay continues, Latinos are being disenfranchised.

At a time when families are struggling to make ends meet and ACA premiums are set to rise due to the Republican government shutdown, the absence of their elected representative is unacceptable.

All of Voto Latino’s outreach work — including urgent ad campaigns like this one — is powered by grassroots supporters like you. Can we count on your donation today to help us continue running these ads and holding MAGA Republicans accountable?
