Dear Patriot,

I fear GOP leaders are close to cutting a dishonorable deal to reauthorize what's been called the Deep State’s “crown jewel.”

You see, U.S. Senator Tom Cotton (R-AR) concocted a scheme to quietly renew Section 702 of FISA during the holidays when few Americans are paying attention.

He doesn’t want it to become an issue for him and his statist pals from BOTH sides of the aisle in the mid-term election.

And considering House Speaker Mike Johnson’s (R-LA) disgraceful betrayal on this very issue last year, chances are he’s only too happy to avoid another showdown.

Section 702, which is set to expire at the height of next year’s primary election, allows the Surveillance State to collect and search your emails, browser history, and chat logs -- and even listen in on your phone calls -- without a warrant.

This is a powerthe Swamp does not want to lose . . . and a power they never should have been given.

Senator Cotton is scheming to hide this “clean” renewal in must pass legislation like the NDAA or a budget bill.

And he is said to be actively lobbying the Trump administration to go along with his newly hatched plan!

I’m counting on your IMMEDIATE action to stop Senator Cotton and his statist pals.

Will you please sign your STOP THE SURVEILLANCE STATE petition to your U.S. Senators and Representative right away ([link removed])?

Your signed petition insists your U.S. Senators and Representative oppose Senator Cotton’s slick maneuver to slip Section 702 renewal into a must pass bill and demands they vote “NO!” on reauthorizing warrantless searches of American citizens.

The good news is Senator Cotton is facing someopposition from legislators in the U.S. House and Senate who have been fighting this unconstitutional abuse of power for years.

The bad news is Senator Cotton is looking to sweeten the deal to get the votes he needs. . .

He’s offering to organize a “top-level panel” to “study” FISA as a “compromise.”

You and I BOTH know the statists use these meaningless tactics to give weak-kneed politicians an excuse for voting wrong on bad legislation.

DON’T LET THEM GET AWAY WITH IT ([link removed])!

Patriot, you and I came within ONE VOTE of winning this battle in the U.S. House in 2024.

That means we only need ONE MORE VOTE to stop the Deep State in its tracks!

While many members of Congress have never before cared about the Fourth Amendment guarantees of average Americans like you and me, they do care about themselves.

In fact, when news broke that the Deep State had spied on sitting U.S. Senators, Speaker Johnson floated the idea of passing a bill to protect LAWMAKERS from illegal surveillance!

As he showed by his vote last year, Johnson isn’t worried about protecting you and me. He just wants to provide cover for himself and others in Congress.

As he’s seen the Deep State unabashedly “weaponize” their spying powers for pure political gain, he wants to ensure he isn’t the next target.

I hate to say, “I told you so”. . .

But it infuriates me to no end that the same politicians who swear on a Bible to uphold the U.S. Constitution – which still includes the Fourth Amendment – could be so blind!

The statists in Washington, D.C. do not have a right to every detail about how we live our lives.

The good news is there is bi-partisan support in Congress to end warrantless mass surveillance under Section 702.

But you and I both know politicians don’t always follow through on their promises, as we witnessed last year when Speaker Johnson flip-flopped on the issue at the last second and cast the deciding vote against a warrant requirement.

That’s why it’s so important you and thousands of patriots like you answer this call to action ([link removed]).

The longer these criminal spying programs continue, the more emboldened the Deep State becomes.

In fact, both the NSA and the Department of Justice have flat-out REFUSED to comply with the minimal protections demanded by FISA court orders (which is usually a rubber stamp for the Deep State).

But those who want to see freedom stamped out in this country know good and well many Americans are wising up to their schemes.

That’s why they’re trying to hide 702 renewal in unrelated legislation that must pass before the end of the year.
([link removed])
You and I have to stop it ([link removed]).

The good news is, with your help, I believe we can.

The more petitions I can generate, the more I can PROVE to Congress the American people are still watching them like a hawk!

That alone will make a tremendous difference.

But Campaign for Liberty can’t afford to pull out all the stops to gather those petitions without an immediate influx of funds.
([link removed])
So won’t you please agree to make a generous contribution of $500, $250, or even $100 right away ([link removed])?

Patriot, I know that’s a lot. Especially during these turbulent times.

So of course, if it’s too much at this time, I hope you’ll consider chipping in $50, $25, or at least $10 ([link removed]).

Your support will enable Campaign for Liberty to turn up the heat on Congress when it matters most.
([link removed])
Won’t you please sign your petition ([link removed]) and make a generous contribution of $500, $250, $100, $50, $25, or at least $10 TODAY ([link removed])?

For Liberty,

Dr. Ron Paul

P.S. Senator Tom Cotton (R-AR) is quietly pushing an eighteen-month “clean” renewal of Section 702 into must pass legislation.

He doesn’t want this controversial legislation to become an issue for he and his Deep State pals from BOTH sides of the aisle during the mid-term election.

If you and I turn up enough heat on Congress to stop the reauthorization of warrantless surveillance of Americans under Section 702, I’m convinced we can bring the statists’ domestic spying programs to a crashing halt.

That’s why I’m counting on you to please sign the STOP THE SURVEILLANCE STATE petition at this link ([link removed]) and agree to your most generous contribution of $500, $100, $50, $25, or at least $10 TODAY ([link removed])!
