This week in tobacco policy news

South Hadley, Massachusetts: The town passed a nicotine free generation law that prohibits anyone born on or after January 1, 2005, from purchasing tobacco and nicotine products.

Tiburon, California: The town council unanimously passed on first reading an ordinance to prohibit the sale of all tobacco products. The town council will take a final vote on the ordinance at its next meeting in November. If it's approved again, the ordinance will take effect in December.
