This is critical, friend: Without emergency funding, the United States Postal Service (USPS) is at risk of running out of money entirely due to the economic impact of the coronavirus.
Now more than ever, we need a fully operational postal service. The USPS is key in ensuring we have access to prescription drugs, receive wages and Social Security benefits, and stay in touch with loved ones.
But without swift, bold action, the USPS could crumble – which would mean job losses and wage cuts for postal workers in New Hampshire and across the country, as well as reduced service to rural areas.
As the coronavirus continues to impact every element of society, we must work together to protect one of our nation’s most important institutions.
Thanks for speaking out,
Team Shaheen
