People First Future

Team, the clock is ticking—

Candace Valenzuela, one of our people first candidates, has a primary election in less than one week.

She's in a competitive race, and she needs our help if she's going to win. Will you split a gift today so we can help Candace across the finish line?

Team, Candace Valenzuela is the definition of a people first candidate. Her campaign in Texas' 24th District is informed by her experiences as a mother, an educator, and a lifelong Texan.

Her parents were two U.S. Army veterans. After her mother left the military, her family experienced homelessness. Candace went on to be the first person in her family to graduate from college.

In 2017, after she became a mother, Candace ran for school board and won, defeating an 18-year incumbent. Since then, she has championed making her school district more inclusive and welcoming to those with different backgrounds.

Candace Valenzuela embodies what it means to be a people first candidate, which is why I'm supporting her — and I hope you will too.

But, with just days left until the primary, time is running out for us to make the difference in this race. Can you rush a split gift as soon as you can so we can propel another people first candidate to victory?

We did it with Mondaire Jones, and we can do it with Candace Valenzuela. Come Tuesday, I look forward to celebrating another victory with you.

Thanks!

Julián
