Why did you leave the Department of Veterans Affairs? Help shape our reporting.

ProPublica has been reporting on the VA for several months now, and we’ve spoken to hundreds of people, many of them in sensitive situations, who have shared their experience with us.

In August, we reported that the VA lost over 600 doctors and nearly 2,000 nurses this year, with the number of doctors dropping each month since President Donald Trump took office. We hope to keep hearing from the doctors, nurses and other front-line medical providers who recently left positions at a VA hospital or clinic to understand why they left and how policy shifts are affecting patient care.

If you recently left the VA or know someone who has, consider sharing your story with us.
