Patriot, it's Pat Harrigan.
Today's a special day for me, and no, it's not my anniversary or anything related to my service as a Green Beret.
It's the day I finally got a few minutes to sit down at my desk and write you the email I've been thinking about for weeks.
Let me preface this by saying I've never been afraid to ask for help. After you spend two tours in Afghanistan carrying hundreds of pounds of equipment and moving mountains to get the job done, there are some things you tell yourself, "No, I can't ask anyone for help with this; I need to do it myself."
That line of thinking has led me to this unfortunate circumstance I find myself in.
When my team told me they needed my help with fundraising, I reassured them not to worry and that I'd take care of it.
I messed up.
Asking people for money is a hard thing to do, and I couldn't bring myself to do it over the past few weeks. Now I'm way behind where I need to be ahead of tonight's midnight deadline.
I'll come out and ask you straight up - can you donate $5, $10, $25, or ANYTHING else you can spare?
Rush $5
Rush $10
Rush $25
Rush anything
Thank you, Pat Harrigan
