We toured Black-owned small businesses to talk about what they need to survive and thrive.

It is my mission to serve in Congress with these people in mind. That is why I care so much about showing up and asking—how can I best support you from Congress? What do you need from your Representative?

Right now, we have a leader who does not listen. The people he is trusted to serve are an afterthought to Congressman Scott Perry. I promise to be a different kind of leader.

As a news anchor for more than thirty years, I told your stories. I listened because your voice and your needs matter. That is what you can expect from me in Congress.
