Friend, I want to take a moment to introduce you to a patriot and friend of mine running for Congress: Dan McCready. Dan’s a fellow Democratic Marine Corps veteran running for North Carolina’s 9th congressional district and his election is only 17 days away. The middle of September? Sounds like a weird time to have an election, right? Well it’s a bit of an interesting story. Dan also ran in 2018, but his opponent was literally caught cheating. And when the final count ended with Dan down less than a thousand votes, there were legitimate questions as to whether his opponent had stolen the election. So, North Carolina called a redo. In 17 days, Dan will again be on the ballot, this time in a special election, and he’s running neck and neck with his opponent. He needs our help to fend off the onslaught of incoming attacks against him. Dan’s a native North Carolinian running for Congress to lower health care and prescription drug costs. After 9/11, Dan felt called to serve and joined the Marines and deployed to Iraq. After returning home, he started his own small business. To drain the swamp that Mitch McConnell created, we’re going to need to send better people to Washington. That starts with Dan. I hope you’ll make a contribution to help him out. Thank you,
