The Ohio constitution requires lawmakers to negotiate in good faith to pass a bipartisan congressional map by September 30th.
That deadline has long since passed, and Ohio Republicans didn't even come to the negotiating table. They didn't propose a single map.
Instead, they're barrelling ahead with a plan to run out the clock, ignore the will of Ohio voters, and once again pass unconstitutional maps that will give them an unfair advantage in the election.
That's exactly what they did during the last round of redistricting, and the Ohio Supreme Court ruled their maps illegal — seven times.
Republicans know their extremist policies are deeply unpopular, so they're cheating to win. They're trying to rig our elections in their favor for years to come.
