John,
Election Day is just 13 days away, and our candidates in Mississippi and Minnesota are counting on us.
These are local heroes—a scientist, a nurse, a small business owner, even the first Black mayor of his city—running to deliver real change in their communities.
But they’re up against Republicans who have turned their backs on working families, and time is running out to give these candidates the grassroots push to win.

Will you split a contribution between Sister District and our special election candidates to finish strong? We close the books on our candidate fundraising next week!
These races aren’t making national headlines, but they couldn’t matter more.
In Mississippi, Johnny DuPree, Justin Crosby, and Theresa Gillespie Isom are running under new, fairer maps after courts ruled the state’s maps violated the Voting Rights Act by diluting Black voting strength. A win here could finally break the GOP supermajority in the state Senate.
In Minnesota, electing Amanda Hemmingsen-Jaeger will protect the Senate majority and stop Republicans from seizing the power to block progress on clean energy, reproductive rights, healthcare, and education.
John, when races are this close, every dollar carries real power. Your contribution helps reach voters who are too often overlooked — and gives our candidates the final push to cross the finish line strong on Election Day.
It only takes a few minutes to make a difference—chip in $5, $25, $100, or whatever you can to help our candidates win.

Thank you!
