John,
Here’s what you need to know.
Last week, as COVID-19 cases were still skyrocketing across the country,
the Senate went on vacation. Your senators went on vacation without taking
action to address systemic racial injustice, protect essential workers,
help struggling families, or fund public schools. At a moment when
senators should be doing their jobs, they are failing us.
[ [link removed] ]Please send a message to your senators right now as part of this
national day of action to put massive pressure on the Senate to act on the
HEROES Act when they come back in session on July 20.

Here are some other actions you can take:

When senators go back to DC in a few weeks, they will have less than two
weeks to extend unemployment insurance, provide financial relief to
struggling families, and support essential services -- including public
schools, funds for testing and contact tracing, ensuring that every vote
can count in November, and saving the postal service.
[ [link removed] ]Take action TODAY to push the Senate for real COVID-19 relief now!
While they vacation, they need to hear loud and clear that we expect them
to get back to D.C. and do their jobs. Can you join us and take action
today?
In solidarity,
Clarissa

people, not corporations? Your support makes our work possible.
