 Healthflex Annual Enrollment

For those on Wespath's HealthFlex insurance, the annual enrollment period is Oct. 29 through Nov. 13. It’s important that you review your plan selections, even if you want to keep your current coverage. For resources related to making your selections, UMPIP and more, visit www.moumethodist.org/benefit

 Simplified Structure Overview

Join Amy Thompson, certified simplified accountable structure coach, for an overview of what simplified accountable structure is and why a church might consider moving to this type of structure. This overview will assist churches in being more informed about the steps and conversations as part of the decision to move to this type of structure. A short Q-and-A will be available at the end of the hour. A pastor and two to three members of the current leadership board are encouraged to attend.

This is NOT for churches who are currently on the Simplified Accountable Structure.

Protect Your Church with These Resources

October is Cyber Security awareness month!
Here are resources from GCFA to help protect your church from scams and cybercriminals.

Why Your Church Can't Wait to Take Action: If you think your church is too small to be a target, think again. Cybercriminals are increasingly turning to nonprofit and faith-based organizations, which they see as “soft targets.”

Protect Your Inbox: Top 5 Cyber Threats Facing Churches: Your church’s email is often the front door for cyber threats. Knowing the most common risks can help you shut that door before trouble walks in.

Five Simple Steps Every Church Can Take to Stay Cyber-Secure: You don’t need an IT degree to protect your church online. With a few consistent habits, your congregation can greatly reduce its risk of becoming the next victim of a cyberattack.

COMING SOON from GCFA - Technology Value Pack!: UMC Support is launching a new service designed especially for local churches — the Technology Value Pack. It’s an affordable, all-in-one subscription that helps churches stay secure, connected, and supported through trusted United Methodist experts.
