Dear John,
Last weekend, believers from across America gathered at Calvary Chapel Chino Hills in California for Family Research Council's 2025 Pray Vote Stand Summit -- a powerful call to restore the spiritual foundations of our nation.
Outside, protestors gathered to make a disturbance -- Antifa, the "No Kings" crowd, pro-Palestinian demonstrators, and even the Proud Boys -- all watched over by sheriff's deputies in riot gear.
While protestors shouted outside, inside, believers of every age and background worshipped, prayed, and encountered messages of truth and hope.
This illustrates something we've long known at FRC: the fight for America's spiritual foundations is real -- and bold, faithful Christians need support and encouragement to engage it effectively.
While we, thankfully, did not experience any violence, the attacks on Christians who are engaging in public discourse and voting their values raise an important question: how can believers navigate a world increasingly hostile to biblical truth?
One of our summit's panels, "Profiles in Courage," highlighted courageous men and women like Pastor Luke Ash, Maine State Representative Laurel Libby, and Jason McGuire -- each of whom refused to compromise on truth -- and paid a price.
Their witness showed that one faithful believer, standing boldly for truth, can make an outsized impact for righteousness -- even in the face of hostility.
FRC has established itself as the organization that runs to stand beside believers who are attacked for standing for truth. The support and visibility that we provide through Washington Watch and The Washington Stand encourages them, which inspires others to be courageous.
We are restoring America's Judeo-Christian foundations through:
- Advocacy on Capitol Hill
- Communication platforms like Washington Watch and The Washington Stand
- Center for Biblical Worldview and Stand on the Word resources
- And events like the Pray Vote Stand Summit
When you partner with FRC, you are ensuring that everyday believers have the knowledge, tools, and the spiritual encouragement they need to confront cultural challenges with wisdom and boldness in their own spheres of influence -- even as FRC confronts them in Washington, D.C.
Will you help us today so we can expand our reach to encourage and inspire even more believers across America?
I STAND WITH FRC
Inside the summit, believers were encouraged and equipped by powerful speakers who reflected FRC's mission in action.
Pastor Jack Hibbs reminded attendees that faith is never compartmentalized -- what we believe in the sanctuary must shape how we live in the world. His words set the tone for the weekend: Christians are called to stand boldly for truth in every sphere of life, even when the culture pushes back.
Panels like "America at 250: An Experiment Worth Celebrating" brought our nation's Christian heritage to life, showing how the faith of America's founders shaped freedom and law. FRC's God and Government video series carries this mission beyond the summit, helping Christians nationwide understand how to influence society with courage and biblical insight.
Christian voices like Lila Rose, Katy Faust, Walt Heyer, and others reinforced the critical importance of God's design for human sexuality, the value of human life made in His image, and His design for intimacy within the bounds of monogamous, heterosexual marriage.
Our gathering concluded with a timely and powerful panel: "Israel: In Search of Shalom," during which former congresswoman and current chair of FRC's board of directors, Michele Bachmann, delivered a powerful call to action for believers. Attendees heard why standing with God's chosen people is central to FRC's faith and policy work and why they must continue to support Israel not simply for our own sake as a nation, but for the sake of God's eternal and perfect plan for salvation.
Every story, panel, and conversation underscored a simple truth: FRC is not only defending biblical truth -- we are equipping believers to live it boldly every day. Your support ensures that Christians across America can be prepared, encouraged, and empowered to stand firm for faith, family, and freedom.
Will you help FRC continue to equip and mobilize believers to defend truth in the public square?
YES, I'LL STAND WITH YOU TONY
Through events like the Pray Vote Stand Summit and our ongoing work in Washington, D.C., and across America, FRC is passionately equipping, encouraging, and mobilizing believers to boldly live out their faith in every area of life -- at home, in the workplace, and anywhere the Lord has called them.
As 1 Peter 3:15 reminds us, "But in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect."
This verse captures the heart of FRC's work.
The Pray Vote Stand Summit was a vivid reminder that the battle for America's spiritual foundations is real. Outside, protestors chanting against imagined "kings" sought to intimidate and disrupt -- but inside, believers prayed, worshipped, and stood unwavering for the King of Kings.
Together, by God's grace, we will keep standing for the truth that sets men free.
