The choice to use birth control, and what kind, is a personal one. We’ve heard from women who use birth control for all sorts of reasons – including having the power to decide if, when, and under what circumstances to get pregnant.

But yesterday’s Supreme Court decision in Trump v. Pennsylvania puts women’s power to decide in jeopardy.

The decision allows employers to choose not to cover contraception in employees’ health care plans. If their employer chooses not to cover contraception, it leaves women with an impossible choice: pay for their contraceptive care out of pocket - or go without.

Friend: do you believe that women should have access to birth control, no matter their income or who their employer is?    

We do, which is why we created our Contraceptive Access Fund – to help women living on low incomes who can’t access this basic form of health care. 

Today in the US, there are already more than 19 million women struggling to makes ends meet who live in an area where they don’t have reasonable access to birth control. And with yesterday’s SCOTUS decision, now many may also face cost barriers too.

But here’s some good news: thanks to generous grassroots support, our Contraceptive Access Fund has helped more than 2,400 women access the birth control they need and deserve.

With your help, we can make sure those who are most impacted by yesterday’s ruling still have access to contraceptive care. Just $5 provides a month of birth control pills for a woman in need.
