It’s been over a month since I voted on the funding bill to keep the government open. Unfortunately, Senate Democrats are still blocking the bill passed by the House, the same type of clean funding bill they supported thirteen times under the Biden Administration, which has resulted in a government shutdown.

Because of these partisan games, hardworking Americans are paying the price. Thankfully, steps have been taken by President Trump to ensure our military men and women continue receiving their paychecks so they can support their families. They shouldn’t have been put in this position to begin with, but our troops have unfortunately been caught in the middle.

I’ll continue fighting to reopen the government, protect our troops, and stop political games from hurting the American people.
