In between calling out right-wing B.S., helping out constituents who are suffering during Trump’s shutdown, and reminding the world that America has No King, I’ve officially started my annual batch of my World-Famous Fermented Hot Sauce.

Now, a fermented hot sauce isn’t the easiest or quickest recipe out there. It demands care, attention to detail, and patience. Fermentation is a complicated process. It looks like nothing’s happening...maybe a few bubbles here and there...then one day, everything changes.
This recipe is a great way to remind yourself that progress is slow, good things take time, and hard work pays off. That’s why I want to share it with you today.Â
As much as I’d like to ship a bottle of this stuff to everyone reading this email, we don’t exactly have the time or budget for industrial hot-sauce manufacturing. Especially not with so much else on our plate.
