Democrats have made it clear: we’re ready to vote for a funding bill that lowers costs and protects health care for the American people. But Speaker Johnson and Republican leadership are playing politics with people’s lives.

This crisis is entirely manufactured and it’s time to end it.

That’s why I’m calling on Speaker Johnson to immediately bring the House back into session and work with Democrats to reopen the government and put people first.
