Michiganders sent a clear message: Power belongs to the people.

Hi Team,

From Detroit to the Upper Peninsula, Michiganders gathered in parks, town squares, and city streets at nearly 100 No Kings Rallies held across the state on Saturday.

Together, we sent a powerful message: We will not be ruled by billionaires, bullies, or would-be kings.

Hundreds of thousands of Michiganders came together to speak out against Donald Trump’s dangerous agenda and his threats to voting rights, his economic chaos that’s driving up costs, and his willingness to use the military against Americans.

Now, we need to take that same energy from the streets to the ballot box.

The No Kings Rallies proved that Michiganders are ready to stand up and fight back, but to turn this momentum into victory in 2026, we have to keep organizing in every county, building community, and keeping people engaged.

That’s exactly what the Michigan Democratic Party is doing every single day through Project 83, our grassroots strategy to organize year-round in all 83 counties. But we need your help to keep this work going strong.

Can you chip in today to help us turn the power of the No Kings movement into a grassroots victory for Democrats up and down the ballot? Every dollar helps us organize in every count of Michigan.

Every rally, every conversation, every organizing shift brings us closer to building a Michigan where government works for the people, not for the powerful few.

Let’s keep that fire burning.

Let’s keep organizing.

Let’s keep building a movement that no king can silence.

Onward,

Curtis Hertel
Chair, Michigan Democratic Party
