| | Dr. Buki (“BOOK-ee”) Usidame Peters is an assistant professor in the Purdue Department of Public Health, and she is an expert on tobacco control, health policy and community health. Dr. Usidame’s research efforts have focused on the impact of tobacco control policies on public health outcomes including reducing initiation, tobacco use, and relapse and increasing cessation of tobacco or nicotine products. Her studies focus on local, state and national policies. Her goal is to provide evidence-based approaches for communities to adopt effective public health policies that will protect the population from the dangers of the tobacco industry. |

| Dr. Monica Wilson is PAVe's Regional Director in California and a nationally recognized leader in organizational leadership, collaborative training, and curriculum design. As a consultant, facilitator, and executive coach, she helps individuals and organizations achieve excellence through collaboration and integrity. She also serves as Academic Program Director and Professor in the Department of Psychology at National University, and as Chair of the Behavioral Health Commission for San Bernardino County. Appointed by the Governor to the California Behavioral Health Planning Council, Dr. Wilson is a strong advocate for youth tobacco prevention, education, and policy reform. |
