Snoop Dogg and GLAAD Send Powerful Message About LGBTQ Families on Spirit Day
In honor of Spirit Day, GLAAD worked with Snoop Dogg and The Voice alum Jeremy Beloate for a special conversation highlighting Snoop’s new song “Love Is Love,” his YouTube children’s series Doggyland, and the inclusion of an LGBTQ couple in the show. Following past controversy over his remarks about Disney’s Lightyear, Snoop leveraged his platform of over 85 million social media followers to promote acceptance, visibility, and support for LGBTQ families, reaching audiences of all ages through music and storytelling. With the help of supporters like you, GLAAD can continue to forge powerful collaborations like this one, reaching entirely new spaces to raise awareness about LGBTQ issues and accelerate our work toward 100% acceptance.
