This weekend, Donald Trump is bringing his traveling circus to my doorstep.

Trump will be holding a rally on Saturday in Portsmouth, NH...only a few miles from my home in Kittery. In doing so, he is showing complete disregard for the health and safety of the people in our region. Even the GOP Governor of New Hampshire has said that he doesn’t think it is safe to attend.    

We deserve a President who is more interested in keeping people safe than keeping his ego fed. Make a gift of $20.20 to help us make sure that all four of Maine’s electoral votes go to Joe Biden!

My husband is a veteran and a family physician who regularly sees patients in New Hampshire, and he agrees that putting thousands of people in close proximity to each other is the perfect way to erase any progress we have made. The irresponsibility, hubris, and plain stupidity of holding a “rally” in the midst of a pandemic is simply incomprehensible to both of us.

Donald Trump knows that he needs to win in Maine to win the White House. We can’t let that happen. We need to elect a president who believes in science, trusts the experts, and helps to heal the soul of the nation.
