To no one’s surprise, Donald Trump is using his power to punish anyone who stands up to him.
He’s coming after journalists who report the truth.
He’s trying to silence pundits and comedians who don’t pledge support to him.
He’s targeting universities and nonprofits that challenge him.
Even ordinary Americans who dare to dissent are at risk.
Trump and his allies are already using public institutions as political weapons. They’ve targeted news outlets, pulled broadcast licenses, and threatened investigations into critics. They’ve shown they’ll exploit national crises and personal tragedies just to tighten their grip on power.
That’s why we’re calling on Congress to immediately pass the No Political Enemies Act when they’re back in session.
This legislation would:
