Tomorrow, I’ll be in court to challenge Donald Trump’s illegal federalization of the National Guard in California.
This fight isn’t theoretical — at its core, it’s about whether a president can use the military here on American soil to advance his own agenda.
For months, Trump has gone after anyone who disagrees with him — using investigations, threats, and the power of the federal government to punish his political opponents and perceived enemies.
And we’re watching in real time as our President uses the U.S. military as his personal police force — deploying the National Guard to blue cities, and blue cities only.
We cannot just stand by and watch as this President brazenly and blatantly ignores state and federal law and the U.S. Constitution.
That’s why I’ve already sued him more than 40 times — and why I’ll be in court tomorrow to present our case against his unlawful deployment of the federalized National Guard in California.
Californians have the right to live without troops on their streets. To speak freely without fear. To live in a real democracy.
As Attorney General, I’ll do everything in my power to defend your rights and stop this lawless administration. Before I step into court tomorrow, I need to know you’re standing with me.
Add your name now to say loud and clear: Californians won’t let Trump turn our cities into political battlegrounds.
